I\u2019m joining the Internet Society\u2019s Community Advocacy Fellowship<\/p>\n
For me, this feels like a natural next step in the work I\u2019ve been doing across Internet governance, digital literacy, and community engagement. Whether it\u2019s supporting transparent communication around security incidents at Nominet, helping young people navigate the online world safely through Code Club UK, or contributing to multistakeholder discussions at ICANN and the UK\u2011IGF, I\u2019ve always believed that a safer, more open Internet is something we build together.<\/p>\n
My focus will continue to be on transparency, user empowerment, and practical safety<\/strong>. I\u2019ve seen first-hand how clear communication during security incidents builds trust, how digital literacy gives people confidence, and how multistakeholder collaboration leads to better, more balanced outcomes.<\/p>\n I want to bring that experience into the fellowship, but I also want to learn from others \u2014 especially those working in different regions, with different challenges, and with different community needs. The Internet is global, but the barriers to access, safety, and trust often look very local.
