{"id":1479,"date":"2020-05-27T10:21:20","date_gmt":"2020-05-27T09:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wickham.uk\/blog\/?p=1479"},"modified":"2020-05-27T10:29:44","modified_gmt":"2020-05-27T09:29:44","slug":"factory-reset-mpow-m5-headset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wickham.uk\/blog\/2020\/05\/factory-reset-mpow-m5-headset\/","title":{"rendered":"Factory Reset Mpow M5 Headset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently struggled to re-pair a Bluetooth headset I was using, the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/36wkwjK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large\">Mpow M5 Pro Bluetooth Headset<\/span><\/a>&#8220;, also known as model BH231A and wanted to share the solution.<\/p>\n<p>The <span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large\"><strong>Mpow M5<\/strong> can be <strong>factory reset<\/strong> as follows:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turn off by holding down the button on the end of microphone for about 6 seconds &#8211; you will hear a &#8220;power down&#8221; sound.<\/li>\n<li>Hold down the button on the end of microphone and the Volume +\u00a0 button for at least 5 seconds<\/li>\n<li>The LED light will start flashing Blue\/Red. This indicates it is ready to pair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why was this necessary?
